In January, 2019, E.T.& L. Corp. was low bidder on a $3.2 million MassDOT project to construct two shared use paths in Amesbury and Salisbury, as well as make improvements to the City of Amesbury Visitor’s Center. E.T.& L. Corp. is currently working on a MassDOT project to replace the Ireland Street Bridge in Chesterfield, MA, which leads to the famous Chesterfield Gorge Reservation. The $2.8 million project was awarded to E.T.& L. in March, 2018. Work includes the construction of precast concrete box beams, deck panels, stub abutments on spread footings, riprap for scour protection, minor realignment and widening for roadway approaches, full-depth pavement, drainage improvements, and more. In July 2018, E.T.& L. Corp. was low bidder on a project in Plymouth, MA to remove the Holmes Dam, restore the Town Brook Channel, and reconstruct the park. Removal of the dam is part of an ongoing effort to remove dams and other barriers to fish migration from Town Brook, which will have direct benefits to local fisheries and the ecosystem. In January of 2018, the State of Connecticut through ConnDOT awarded E.T.& L. Corp. with a $6 million project to horizontally and vertically realign a portion of S.R. 740 (Brushy Plain Road/Totoket Road) within the area known as “Snake Hill” in the towns of Branford and North Branford. The realignment will remove four sharp, substandard horizontal curves and lower the steep grade of the existing roadway to 10%. E.T. & L. Corp. was low bidder in May 2018 on a project for the City of Springfield Department of Public Works. The $3 million project is the rehabilitation of the Springfield Flood Protection System along the Connecticut River.
