In January of 2018, E.T.& L. Corp. was low bidder on a $2.1 million project to replace the Mill Street bridge over the Mill River in Amherst, MA. This project includes the removal and disposal of the existing bridge foundations and bridge superstructure and constructing a new 37’-6” long single span bridge carrying one, one-way vehicle lane and one multi-use path. In January of 2018, the State of Connecticut through ConnDOT awarded E.T.& L. Corp. with a $6 million project to horizontally and vertically realign a portion of S.R. 740 (Brushy Plain Road/Totoket Road) within the area known as “Snake Hill” in the towns of Branford and North Branford. The realignment will remove four sharp, substandard horizontal curves and lower the steep grade of the existing roadway to 10%. E.T. & L. Corp. was low bidder in May 2018 on a project for the City of Springfield Department of Public Works. The $3 million project is the rehabilitation of the Springfield Flood Protection System along the Connecticut River. The work involved in this project includes concrete floodwall repairs of approximately 800 linear feet of flood damage reduction channels, including stone masonry and brick repairs, the capping of approximately 20 feet of floodwall, removal and reconstruction of…
Colrain Spring of 2016, E.T.& L. Corp. was awarded a $9.5 million, multi-span bridge project in Colrain, MA. The project consists of replacing the existing Jacksonville Road Bridge over the North River, as well as the reconstruction of a portion of Jacksonville Road. The existing bridge has 5 spans with a total length of 275 feet and will be replaced by a 4 span, 302 foot length structure with new concrete abutments and piers. E.T.& L. Corp. is currently working on replacing the existing 3.5 million gallon steel plate water storage tank at Indian Head Heights for the Town of Framingham, MA. The $6.4 million contract includes the demolition of the existing 3.5 million gallon water tank which will be replaced by two 1.75 million gallon precast concrete water tanks. In December of 2015, E.T.& L. Corp was awarded a $4.8 Million project by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to build phase II of the Clipper City Rail Trail. This project is part of the development of the Border to Boston Trail, the Coastal Trails Coalition, and the much larger vision of the East Coast Greenway, which seek to expand these systems of bicycle and pedestrian trails as alternative transportation links to town centers, schools, businesses and amenities, and public…
