Under a $960,000 contract with the Montague Airport Commission, E.T.& L. Corp. completed an improvement project at the Turners Falls Municipal Airport. Construction work was completed in a short 35 days.

The work consisted of the full depth (32 inches) reconstruction of a portion of Parallel Taxiway ‘A’ along with drainage improvements, taxiway lighting, signage and installation of a new rotating light beacon, fencing and electrical service. In addition to the taxiway work, two off-site airport hazard beacons were refurbished, including concrete foundation repairs, electrical service and painting of the 108 foot high towers.
