In September of 2016, E.T.& L. Corp. was awarded a $1.6 million contract by the City of Northampton. The contract was for the reconstruction of the River Road retaining wall and a portion of the supported roadway. River Road runs adjacent to Mill River and contains the Town of Williamsburg’s sanitary sewer interceptor line. The project included demolition of the existing retaining wall and roadway, construction of a new storm drainage system, construction of a new cast-in-place reinforced cement concrete retaining wall, installation of new guardrails, paving, and striping of the roadway.
