In October 2017, E.T.& L. Corp. was awarded a contract with the Orange Municipal Airport. The $1.6 million project was to reconstruct a 35 foot wide by 2,500 foot long section of the existing Taxiway D, connecting two runways. Reconstruction of the taxiway included pulverizing and reclaiming gravel, placing new gravel and bituminous surface course, pavement markings, electrical conduit, excavation and embankment, topsoil placement and seeding, and other stabilization measures. A new electrical vault, new taxiway lighting, and new signage was also included. Contract completion time for this project was 85 calendar days.
