This project included the repair of some erosion to a previously capped 15 acre landfill. It included the removal of topsoil in the eroded areas and verifying that there was the required thickness of drainage sand in place. If the sand drainage layer was not sufficient these areas would be brought into compliance with the closure design, the topsoil was to be reinstalled and seeded and erosion matting would be installed in the repaired areas. The total area of repairs was approximately one acre.
