In 2017, Wheelabrator awarded E.T.& L. Corp.  $1.1 million contract for a 7.5 acre final closure of a portion of the Shrewsbury Landfill. The project consisted of the shaping and grading of the ash landfill, furnishing and installation of a HDPE liner, furnishing and installation of a geocomposite drainage layer, installation of vegetative support layer and seeding.
