In January 2025, E.T.& L. Corp. was low bidder on a project for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation. This $5.9 million project is for the construction of a 10-ft wide paved, shared-use path along 7.5 miles of the Mass Central Rail Trail (MCRT) Wayside corridor, from the Eversource Driveway, approximately 900 feet east of Landham Road in Sudbury, to the Assabet River Rail Trail off Wilkins Street in Hudson. The project includes installation of facilities for road crossings, paving, fencing/ railing installation, landscaping, hardscapes, site amenities, pavement markings, and signage. Work on this section of the Mass Central Rail Trail is expected to be completed in early 2027.
