In December of 2022, E.T.& L. Corp. was awarded the Trolley Trail Pedestrian Bridge Abutment project for the Town of Brimfield, MA for a lump sum price of $413,000. This project consists of the construction of two abutments for a future 100’ pedestrian bridge carrying the Grand Trunk Trail over the Quinebaug River. Work began in April of 2023 with the driving of 24 timber piles, each at approximately 50’ in depth. This project was completed in May of 2023 with the construction of both the proposed abutments, including a rip rap slope treatment/scour protection at each abutment.
